Over the next year, Lifeline, like other companies nationwide, will transition their devices from 3G to 4G LTE technology to maintain the best possible service. Cellular home communicators and mobile pendants are affected by this transition and will need to be replaced. If your Lifeline system is affected, we’ll be reaching out to you to coordinate your replacement. We’ve developed a program to make this swap as easy as possible.
Performing this simple swap is essential to keep your service working. We know you are used to the Lifeline system you have and nothing will change. If you’re a HomeSafe user with a cellular communicator, a GoSafe user with a cellular communicator and mobile pendant, or a GoSafe 2 user with a mobile pendant, your system will look, feel, and act exactly as it did before.
We appreciate you being prepared to take our call so we can provide you with the best possible service and technology. When it's time to swap your Philips Lifeline 3G system, you will receive a postcard and an email alerting you to expect a phone call to initiate your system swap. Your well-being is important to us and we are grateful for your support.

Caution: To reduce any risk of strangulation, Philips Lifeline neck cords are designed to break apart under certain conditions. However, any cord worn around the neck can pose a strangulation risk, including the possibility of death and serious injuries. This may be of more concern to wearers in wheelchairs, using walkers, using beds with guard rails, or who might encounter other protruding objects upon which the cord can become tangled.
